About the Company
Phoqus was established in 1997 as a spin-off from Colorcon, the world's leading supplier of coating materials to the pharmaceutical industry, with a mission to develop and commercialise, using venture capital financing, a range of novel drug delivery systems created from the application of a novel proprietary electrostatic powder deposition technology to pharmaceutical dosage forms. Initial venture capital funding was provided by Advent Venture Partners and 3i plc.

The company has office, laboratory and a cGMP plant on a business park location in West Malling, near Maidstone, Kent.
